Today the Lord spoke to me about lovingkindness. Isn't that such a wonderful word? My heart swells when I ponder upon that word. The exact meaning of lovingkindness means "motivated by affection." Wow...God's actions, heart, words and thought towards us are motivated by the deep affection He has for you and me. Everything the Lord does is motivated by a great affection!
Psalm 51:1 says "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions."
